Welcome to Troops 998 Boys and Girls in Leesburg, VA. The boys’ Troop was established in 2006 and the girls’ Troop was established in 2019. Troop 998 is part of the Goose Creek District, one of the largest and most active districts in the National Capital Area Council. 

At Troops 998, we believe in developing scout leadership and encouraging growth. Our boy and girl Troops are scout led, with the scouts planning campouts, events, troop meetings, and patrol nights.

We have a very active calendar of events with at least one campout every month. Our scouts also go on high adventure trips to Northern Tier, Philmont, and Seabase.
